1995 Black Trans Am

Drivetrain info: 5.7 Liter V-8 (LT1) - 6 speed manual transmission

Options: T-tops, graphite leather, 6 speed, CD + 10 speakers, steering wheel radio controls, window tint, keyless entry

Weight: around 3600 portly lbs.

Engine: Stage II GTP heads, a crane CC306 camshaft (230/245, .544"/.578" at .050" w 1.6rr, 114deg lobe sep), Comp Cams 1.6 roller rockers, Trick-Flow pushrods, CC985 springs and retainers, Cloyes double roller timing set, Meziere electric water pump, MSD coil, MSD-32129 spark plug wires, stock bottom end.

Induction: K&N FIPK, relocated IAT sensor, AS&M 58mm Throttle Body with no coolant connections (and custom IAC mod), black, powder-coated Trick-Flow intake elbow.

Exhaust: I have a Borla adjustable cat-back exhaust system installed on my car, combined with a set of Jet-Hot coated SLP shorty headers, and the uncoated SLP y-pipe is welded to a random technology catalytic convertor. I also have a (leaky) MPP2 electronic cutout installed in the borla, so I can (slowly) open it and close it with a push of a button.

Drivetrain: !CAGS, B&M Ripper shifter, synthetic fluids in tranny and rearend. SLP modified/lightened pressure plate, SLP take-off flywheel with a roller pilot bearing and a McLeod dual friction clutch disk. Motive Genuine GM 4.10 gears, Torsen T-2R Racemaster differential w/paddle kit, and a T/A Performance Girdle. Stock 3.42 rear end after fragging the cool 4.10 rear the day that I installed RedLine ShockProof gear oil....

Suspension: Eibach Pro Kit springs, SLP Bilstein shocks and struts, one air bag in the passenger's side rear coil spring, BMR driveshaft loop / G-load brace and Kenny Brown Double Diamond subframe connectors.

Brakes: Performance Friction Street (non-Z) pads on all four corners. ATE Super Blue brake fluid. LS1 front brakes, stock LT1 rear brakes. Speedbleeders in all four of the calipers. Earls stainless steel brake lines all around.

Tires/Wheels: 17" polished WS6 wheels with Bridgestone Fuzion ZRi tires. (275/40/17) The Fuzions are a good street tire, but I was not all that impressed with them on the road course at Indy. Then again, they are a street tire and had a lot of tread on them at the time.

Misc.: Full synthetic oil; 160 degree thermostat; fog light wiring mod; Blue, Goodyear Hi-Miler hoses; cheap, bright, aftermarket fog lights with custom made brackets; internal manual fan switch (instructs the PCM to enable both fans); hardwired Valentine One radar/laser detector; Cobra 75WXST CB radio (yes, I am a redneck); and a reprogrammed PCM.
